We’re coming to Melbourne!
After eight remarkable years in Sydney, the Women in Leadership Summit is thrilled to make its debut in Melbourne for its 9th edition!
This year is more than a new location; it’s a renewed commitment to challenging the status quo, spurred by the sobering findings of the Global Gender Gap Report 2023, which underlines the pressing need to address the decline in women’s leadership roles.
Our response? Action, empowerment, and relentless pursuit of change.
We’re not just merely continuing our journey; we’re amplifying it. Research has consistently shown the positive impact of having more women in leadership roles; the compelling fact that reinforces our mission. Our purpose is to transform statistics into tales of achievement and challenges into opportunities for growth.

Over two million Australian’s suffer from the Digital Divide through lack of devices or access to the internet.
At The Laptop Initiative, we’re on a mission to change that narrative. By redistributing unwanted laptops, we strive to equip those in need with tools to thrive in the digital age.
We partner with charities – empowering women escaping domestic violence, supporting disadvantaged youth, assisting refugee and asylum seekers.
This can’t happen without our corporate heroes – they directly contribute by donating unwanted devices. They also demonstrate their environmental commitment by reducing digital waste and by involving employees in philanthropic activities they boost morale, foster team cohesion, and strengthen their corporate culture.
We know that supporting charitable initiatives reflects positively on a company’s governance practices, ethical standards, and stakeholder trust, contributing to long-term sustainability.
We can close the digital divide and build a brighter, more inclusive future.

The National Women in Transport initiative aims to showcase, support, and increase the number of Australian women working in transport. One way in which this is done is through the Speaker Bureau, which demonstrates the contributions women make to transport across Australia. Speakers are senior leaders across a range of transport modes and specialties.
This is an initiative of Australia’s infrastructure and transport ministers who agreed to the Women in Transport Initiative at the Infrastructure and Transport Ministers’ Meeting (ITMM) in May 2021.
The initiative is supported by the Australian Government and Infrastructure Australia and coordinated by the National Transport Commission.
